Amanda and Decora first met one unforgettable evening at the Faena Hotel in Miami Beach, a fitting beginning, as hotels would become a recurring theme throughout their love story.Some call it love at first sight; others might say it was simply fate. By the very next day, Decora had already asked Amanda to lunch, and before she could even say yes, he had changed his flight just for the chance to see her again.Then reality set in. With international borders closed, Amanda returned home to Toronto, and life carried on.Six months later, Decora reached out and invited Amanda to New York City. Normally cautious, she decided to take a chance and brought her friend Veronica along for backup. What was meant to be a weekend adventure quickly became the beginning of a relationship that proved distance was no match for the connection they shared.Over the years, their story continued to grow. Along the way, Decora opened his own boutique hotel; The Perch, a meaningful nod to how their journey began in a hotel all those years ago. Now, on that very same November weekend, Amanda and Decora are thrilled to celebrate their marriage at Casa Loma in Toronto, surrounded by the family and friends they love most.Thank you for being part of their story.
